LITIGATION IN CRIMINAL MATTERS
At Martorell & Cia. we represent the interests of our clients in the different stages of criminal proceedings. With extensive experience in the handling of complex proceedings, we design effective strategies aimed at the resolution of the criminal conflict.

CRIMINAL COMPLIANCE
DIAGNOSIS AND PREVENTION
In order to comply with the duties established in law 20.393, there must be an effective Crime Prevention Model, tailored to the specific company and its activity. The first step to prevent is to have an adequate diagnosis of the specific corporate risks faced by the company.
DESIGN, IMPLEMENTATION AND AUDIT
We design and implement a Crime Prevention Model ensuring full compliance with the standards imposed by law 20.393.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
With extensive experience in the teaching area, we train board members, management and employees in general in order to achieve a thorough understanding and a real implementation of compliance models in the criminal area.

Daniel is a lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, with a Master’s Degree in Criminal Law from the Universidad de Chile, and a Master’s Degree in Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences from the Universidad de Barcelona & Pompeu Fabra. He also completed a Diploma in Antitrust Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and is currently a doctoral candidate in criminal law at the same university.
Daniel is a professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile teaching Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure. With more than 15 years of experience in criminal law, he has advised various public agencies, individuals and corporations in different industries.
